The ritual
Four movements, thirty minutes
-
I
Aroma & breath
Your therapist warms a few drops of ALQVIMIA body oil between their palms and guides you through slow 4-4-8 breathing.
-
II
Head massage
Gentle circular strokes at the temples, around the ears and at the base of the skull, where tension gathers.
-
III
Neck & shoulders
With ALQVIMIA body oilSlow kneading and gliding strokes to release the neck, shoulders and chest, so breathing feels deeper and easier.
-
IV
Rest & foot therapy
After a quiet rest, your feet settle onto a warming foot therapy device while your therapist teaches you the technique to repeat at home.
Take it home
Learn the ritual. Repeat it at home.
4Inhale
4Hold
8Exhale
Before you leave, your therapist shows you a simple neck and shoulder self-massage with ALQVIMIA body oil, together with the 4-4-8 breathing rhythm at the heart of the ritual. A longer exhale helps the body shift into a calmer state, so you can recreate the calm at bedtime.
If holding the breath feels uncomfortable, simply breathe in for 4 and out for 6.
The oils
Two ALQVIMIA body oils. You choose on the day.
Smell both before your ritual and choose the one that feels right.
Anti-Stress Body Oil
Layered citrus, herbal and lavender notes. For busy minds, mental fatigue and tension held in the neck and shoulders.
Lavender Relaxing Body Oil
A gentle, lavender-led aroma. For restless evenings, lighter sleep and a deeply peaceful ritual.
